I have been a Lutheran my whole life, and always thought that I really didn't have a purpose as a Christian. I have attended Bethal Lutheran Church my whole life. My Christian life started out really weak, and I was not sure what I was doing. My Christain beliefs did not grow until last January. I realized that God was truly there when my dad passed away. Ever since then I have really felt God's presence. My Christian beliefs are still growing, and I am still recovering form January. I know that God is always there and you can ask Him anything, it is just some stuff He will not give to you. For example if you ask for your Grandma to get better he will help. But if you ask for an Xbox360, although He is the Almighty he will not give you this. Last you may be a Christian and you may not feel God's presence. I felt that same way. I thought that he was real but wasn't there. I have learned that if you try hard you can feel the Holy Spirit working through you to try and talk to you. Maybe you have heard a conscience, you may have not thought about it but that may have been God talking to you telling you not to do something. Last, just believe and sooner or later you will find out that God is there and that he does help people and that he is a miracle worker.
